Good to know
Cowboy Ranch has a rustic outdoor feel — lawns, gravel paths, and wooden floors. Block heels, wedges, or stylish flats will serve you better than thin stilettos.
Croatia uses the Euro (€). Cards are widely accepted, but keep a little cash for small cafés, bakeries, and the Dolac farmers market. Skip the blue-and-yellow Euronet ATMs — use official bank ATMs (Zaba, PBZ, Erste, OTP) for fair rates.
Relaxed but appreciated: round up or leave €1–€2 in cafés and bars, and around 10% in restaurants for good service. Card terminals don't always offer a tip line, so cash helps.
Most supermarkets and shops are closed on Sundays by law — only gas stations, the airport, and hotel shops stay open. Buy snacks, toiletries, and anything urgent on Friday or Saturday.
Uber and Bolt work reliably across Zagreb and out toward the venue, and are usually a better deal than flagged taxis. In the city, the blue ZET trams cover downtown — buy paper tickets at any Tisak kiosk before boarding.
English is spoken fluently in hotels, restaurants, and shops, and Zagreb ranks among Europe's safest capitals — a late-night walk downtown is perfectly normal.
